Favorite Brewery Finds of 2020
Can you believe weโre already about half way through the year? 2020 can be over with already for all I care, whoโs with me? Luckily before everyone had to shut down & quarantine I made it to quite a few new breweries.
Breweries have seriously stepped it up this year and have gotten so creative during the Corona madness. Having access to delicious beer helped so many get through quarantine with their sanity. Or was that just me?
I hope everyone has been supporting their local breweries as much as possible. Need some help pointing you towards the best breweries to support?
Here Are My Favorite Brewery Finds Of 2020
Note: These arenโt all newly opened breweries, just ones that I have been to for the first time this year.
1. Crank Arm Brewing in Raleigh, NC
Right in downtown was my first stop on a full day of solo brewery hopping & they set the bar high! One of the only times Iโve ordered a flight & loved every single one. The atmosphere was super laid back, location is perfect and the owners are awesome.

2. Indiana City Brewing in downtown Indianapolis
Itโs a dark and cozy brewery that we didnโt even plan on going to but Iโm so happy we did. I loved the atmosphere & their glassware. Plus the beer was good of course.

3. Fort Point Beer Company in San Francisco, CA
I havenโt been to their other locations however I love the one inside the ferry building. Itโs got a can lined backdrop & open to the outside so itโs perfect for people watching. The couple beers I had while I was there were delicious, especially the red ale they had on nitro!

4. Walt Whitman Brewing in Saratoga Springs, NY
I was so anxious for this brewery to open because not only are they a brewery but they have a cafe upstairs & a delicious restaurant! Literally a one stop shop for me. They make homemade pop tarts, killer Detroit style pizza and my favorite beer of theirs so far is the Now, Forager Raspberry Berliner Weisse. We drank so much of it at the Saratoga Brew Summit this year.

5. Bonsai Brewing Project in Whitefish, MT
My family took us there while we were in town visiting & their beer was so flavorful. We had no idea it was their 6th anniversary party but it was awesome to see a brewery so packed with people having a good time over good beers. For their party they were releasing a Raspberry Milkshake IPA called Butterfly in a Blizzard which we enjoyed. Their Cookie Turner Oktoberfest with Cinnamon & Lactose was one of my favorite beers Iโve had all year.

Thatโs a wrap so far on my favorite 2020 brewery finds! Iโm hoping quarantine ends soon so I can visit even more. Until then Iโll be picking up local beer to support all my favorite breweries so they can hopefully stay open after this madness.
Cheers!
