Flight Attendant Life
Everyone assumes the life of a flight attendant is full of fun, travel, and anything that's glamorous. Those things are true, however there is so much more to it and there are definitely many challenging parts. I'm here to tell it to you straight. Also you may be wondering why I call it a lifestyle, that's because it is way more than a job. You have to change so much about your life in order to be a flight attendant. As with any job in customer service we deal with the best of the population and the worst. We go through 1-2 month long trainings learning how to fight fires and perform CPR. We pick up trash, lots and lots of trash. Flight Attendants become therapists for passengers going through hardships. We work with new people every trip. Lots of our time is spent away from our friends and family and our homes. At the end of the day this job is worth all the hardships, at least to me it is. The chance to travel all around the world and meet so many new people is priceless and I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. If you have any questions about being life as a flight attendant please don't hesitate to contact me or comment below! See you in the skies!

A Walk Through Downtown Los Angeles
Layovers during the pandemic haven’t been what they used to be. The life of a flight attendant can already be pretty lonely but in 2020 it’s become even lonelier. While I’ve been trying to stay in my hotel room as much as possible, it’s been nice to just walk through the cities that I layover at. Luckily it’s summer time and all that vitamin D has helped me try to stay positive through all the changes this year. Downtown Los Angeles, or rather DTLA, is full of people watching, lots of coffee shops, and plenty of murals to gawk at. Since we usually get in late at night, we have…

Disclaimer! I have never been over in the North Terminal so this Detroit Airport Guide will only be helpful to you if you’re taking Delta and will be in terminals A, B, and C. I bet you’re wondering why Detroit? Well Detroit is actually one of my favorite airports. It’s very easy to get around, spacious and bright. Missing the Flight Attendant Life During Quarantine
I’ve been on voluntary leave for over 2 weeks now to help my company get through the Covid-19 epidemic and I miss flying so much already. Since I’m no longer considered an essential employee I’m on quarantine with everyone else, no more flight attendant life for me for the next 2-3 months! It’s been nice to catch up on my writing and reading, cook more and spend time with the boyfriend and the cat. However I’m already missing everything about my usual lifestyle. Being grounded as a flight attendant isn’t easy and I still got 6 more weeks to go. Let’s just say I’m running out of things to clean…

Hotel Travel Hacks – From a Flight Attendant
So I’ve been living out of hotels now for about 3 years, I don’t have much of a choice since I’m a Flight Attendant. That being said, I’ve had to get pretty smart & come up with lots of hotel travel hacks to make myself as comfy and safe as possible away from home. The only thing getting me through my work day is knowing that I have a nice king size bed waiting in a quiet room & the ability to have Doordash deliver guilty pleasure food for me to eat in bed instead of standing in a nasty galley while people bug me. (Want to help me not…

An Honest Day as a Flight Attendant
I mostly intend for this blog to be all about adventures & beer & funny flight attendant ramblings, but the thing is some days are rough in this industry. I know a lot of you think I spent two months in training learning how to pour a coke, but the truth is we spend most of our time learning how to make people feel comfortable and to be able to keep everyone safe in an emergency. Luckily today was not a fatal day, nor was it anywhere near as bad as a flight attendant’s worst day. However, it was an emotional roller coaster, and I cannot wait to get to…

What not to do on an airplane
Just like everywhere else in the world there are people that don’t make any sense or are making their life way more complicated than necessary. In the airline business I like to call them questionable passengers. The following is a list I’ve compiled of the most questionable passengers onboard an airplane and all the odd, confusing and stupid things they do. I’m pretty sure TSA does something to people’s brains when they go through. That or travel is just that stressful for some people. People who travel with soft guitar cases & other soft cases for various expensive instruments and expect them to not get ruined or expect us to…
