Flight Attendant Life

Everyone assumes the life of a flight attendant is full of fun, travel, and anything that's glamorous. Those things are true, however there is so much more to it and there are definitely many challenging parts. I'm here to tell it to you straight. Also you may be wondering why I call it a lifestyle, that's because it is way more than a job. You have to change so much about your life in order to be a flight attendant. As with any job in customer service we deal with the best of the population and the worst. We go through 1-2 month long trainings learning how to fight fires and perform CPR. We pick up trash, lots and lots of trash. Flight Attendants become therapists for passengers going through hardships. We work with new people every trip. Lots of our time is spent away from our friends and family and our homes. At the end of the day this job is worth all the hardships, at least to me it is. The chance to travel all around the world and meet so many new people is priceless and I wouldn't change it for anything in the world.
